Millis Ann Gwinn
October 23, 1942 - August 23, 2014

Millis Ann Gwinn was born in Oakland, California on October 23rd, 1942 to Morris and Mildred Heacock. She married Peter Lilly and together had four children: Annette Lilly, Mark Lilly, Daniel Lilly and Douglas Lilly. In 1967 they moved to South Lake Tahoe to raise their family. In 1990 she married her husband of 30 years, Bud Gwinn. Together they enjoyed camping and spending time with their friends and family. Millis enjoyed spending her days in her sewing room making quilts and crafts for the people she loved. She also liked playing slot machines and cards with her friends and grandchildren. She was always there for her family with unconditional love. Millis was given her angel wings on August 23rd, 2014 in Salem, Oregon. Surviving Millis are her husband: Bud; her four children; six grandchildren: Katie Kent, Karlie Kent, MaKenzie Lilly, Dana Lilly, Jared Lilly, and Christopher Lilly; two great grandchildren Kaden, Luce, and Jacob Luce; seven nieces and nephews, and numerous friends of her children whom she treated as her own.

A celebration of life for Millis will be on October 4, 2014 in South Lake Tahoe, California at 11 a.m. at 1436 Black Bart Ave.
