Muriel Britt Cryer 1920 ~ 2010 Longtime Resident of Moraga
Muriel passed away peacefully on July 10, 2010. She was 90 years of age. A Devout Catholic, she lived a wonderful life, loving nothing more than being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A social butterfly, Muriel was a member of many church groups and clubs, including the Alpha Chi Omega sorority at Cal. Muriel leaves family and friends she loved dearly, and who loved her just as much. Married 69 years to her high school sweetheart, she is survived by her husband William James Cryer [1937] of Moraga; her children: Bill (Helen) Cryer, and Mary Ferro; grandchildren: Brett (Jeannette) Cryer, Melanie Cryer, Jason Ferro, Christina (Joshua) Madrid. Also survived by great-granddaughters: Gianna Marie, Emma Britt, and Paige Catherine Madrid. Friends and Family are invited to a funeral mass at St. Monica's Catholic Church, Moraga on Wednesday, July 14th at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Muriel's honor may be made to Hospice of the East Bay or Bruns House in Alamo.
