MANY FRIENDS ATTEND YOUNG GIRL'S FUNERAL

Miss Cushman Was Junior in
the University

OAKLAND. Jan. 25.- The funeral of Helen M. Cushman, daughter of Mrs. R. J. Cushman, 1812 Nineteenth avenue, and a student of the University of California, was held this morning from the Cushman home, Rev. Thomas A. Boyer, pastor of the First Christian church, officiating. Miss Cushman was 20 years old, a graduate of the Franklin school and the Oakland high school and a Junior at the University of California. Many of her friends and classmates attended the obsequies.
